Summer Boat Tours

There is no better way to explore Northern Ireland in the summer months than by sea!  Out on the water around our stunning coastline you can take in a different perspective the landscape, wildlife and those beautiful summer sunsets.

bangorboatThe Bangor Boat runs daily afternoon trips from the jetty at Pickie Fun Park, just turn up on the day.  £6 per adult, £3 per child.

Each year the Sea Bangor Festival brings the opportunity to sail on a tall ship, this year you’ve a choice of two! The Kaskelot and the Earl of Pembroke will be moored at Eisenhower Pier, Bangor for the two day festival.

Saturday 9th June & Sunday 10th June: Earl of Pembroke
Earl of Pembroke is a three masted barque built in 1945 and resembles the famous Endeavour.
Departs Eisenhower Pier 7pm
£15 per person (children must be 10+)

Kaskelot is a three-masted barque built in 1948 and one of the largest remaining wooden ships in commission.

brianboru

Portaferry Sails and Sounds Festival returns from 28th June to 1st July and with it boat trips exploring Strangford Lough on The Brian Boru, a traditional gaff rigged wooden sailing ketch.

The trips will run twice daily throughout the festival, tickets are £35 per adult and £25 per child and include professional tour guide to talk through the history of the Lough and marine life, light refreshments on boat & £5 voucher Salt House Restaurant at Portaferry Sailing Club.  Tickets here
