Belfast Book Festival 
Hosted by the Crescent Arts Centre the festival, running from 9th to 19th June, will serve up an array of literary events.  The programme includes an intimate evening with John Challis aka Boycie in Only Fools and Horses.

Belfast Carnival Village
A free event to be enjoyed by all in Ormeau Park on 25th June from 12 to 6pm with performing puppets, mad hatters, crazy golfers and musicians.  Lots of fun and games including art sessions and a village parade.

The carnival village will also have a market with Northern Ireland food producers and suppliers.  Check into their facebook event page for more info.

Our Back Yard
An independent festival of music and culture held near Guilford in County Armagh.  Intially held in the summer of 2014 in the founding member’s back yard the festival is back this year on 25th June from 4pm to 11pm.

The line up of local favourites includes Wookalily, No Oil Paintings, the Twisted Sisters and loads more.  Tickets available here.

Three days of great music from 24th to 26th June.  Follow the blues trail through lots of bars in the heart of the city, take a blues on the boat cruise and new for this year visit the festival marquee in Writer’s Square.
