…What a beautiful day!
A sunny Sunday morning took me and my fellow bear hunter, 7 year old Paige to join Brenda the Bear Detective on her search for an escaped bear from Belfast Zoo!
Starting at the Mac, Brenda shared her expertise with our group of mini bear hunters and parents alike to impart some essential hunting skills. We followed the clues of paw prints through the gallery and outside to the nearby Buoy Park where scrolls of rhymes and riddles were found and solved to take us a step closer to finding the elusive bear.
From fairy houses to butterflies, wishing trees to tickles trees our troop of bear detectives all expertly led by Brenda collectively used their magic to hunt for the elusive bear.
We ended finding some hidden treasure left by the bear for the children in the form of moon rocks. A little memento to remind them of an enchanting morning.
Bringing her unique experience to the Mac, Samantha of Place to Wonder created a magical immersive world for the children (and accompanying adults!) in a fun and safe environment. My bear hunter companion absolutely loved it.
With themes of bear hunts, fairies, curiosities and starry nights Place to Wonder brings a wonderful experience to children through storytelling and crafts. You can next enjoy the Place to Wonder immersive experience at the Belfast Mela on Sunday 27th August in Botanic Gardens.
Keep up to date with future events by checking out their Facebook Page. The kids will love it!
*No bears were harmed on this hunt 😉
